Egmont Key

Egmont Key is an island at the mouth of Tampa Bay.  It is home to a population of tortoises, a lighthouse, a ghost town,  the sunken ruins of Fort Dade and all the trimmings a tropical island provides.

There is excellent shelling, snorkeling and bird watching through out the year and Miss John’s Pass offers safe, comfortable passage to and from the island from the gulf beaches of Tampa Bay.

Unlike other ferry services to Egmont, Miss John’s Pass remains at the island to provide our passengers with access to clean bathroom facilities (located on board the boat), shelter and a safe place for their personal belongings.  Bring a cooler for a picnic on the island and we will set a course for AWESOME adventure on a tropical island.
